Last night we attended the Health Equities Rally in Freedom Plaza here in Washington, saw some wonderful performances and speakers. It is really exciting to be here when all of these things are happening – there is great energy in the air. We heard Eleanor Hinton Hoytt from the Black Women’s Health Imperative (one of our partners!), Representative John Conyers from Michigan, and a number of citizens talking about the importance of affordable, comprehensive health care

In Eleanor’s words: “Today is the day I ask you to commit to raising your voice…to get the quality, affordable, available, accessible, comprehensive healthcare for everybody. We still have a choice to do something right.”

Whooo hoo! Keep following us on Twitter (RWV4HealthCare), and stay tuned for some more discussion right here.
